I've started doing a new exercise in the form of swimming. For a few days now, I've been swimming a few laps at night in our pool (okay, to be more technical, at the pool in our clubhouse, better?) for 30 minutes. I'm not a good swimmer, in fact, I can't stay floating in deep water for a long period of time as I don't know how to thread. Good thing our pool is only about 5feet deep so I can still tip toe. But I'm loving it and I plan to do this regularly especially when I don't have badminton
I fell in love with it cause I feel more relaxed after a swim. And the extra calories burned after a 30-minute swim would help in my overall agenda of losing weight. Yeah, I'm still way too far from my pre-pregnancy weight so I need to work double time.
I've seen a few videos of how to do certain strokes and read an article about how to make swimming an effective weight loss exercise, and I'm pumped up. I want to try them right away tonight and see if I learned from it.
