And then, I found more photos of me as a kid.

Did you notice one thing in common about these pictures? Bangs! Yes! Bangs! I guess, when you're young, bangs was in. :) Thinking if I should give my baby some bangs too.
I still can’t believe that growing inside of me is God’s most precious gift to Jom and I. We’ve been waiting for this for quite sometime and now that it’s here we can’t thank Him enough for this wonderful blessing.
After a few months of trying to conceive, I think I was already near the end of it. Jom or more like I, was already feeling the pressure and that makes trying less enjoyable. He knew I was this close to giving up because He saw me sobbing in my little corner. So the next time I visited my OB, which was a couple of weeks before my birthday, He answered our prayers. He took His time answering other people’s prayers and when it was our turn, it was the perfect time.
And once again, He proved that everything we desire will be given to us in His perfect time. And if He doesn’t or He delays, it means He’s planning a great surprise.
No words can describe how excited I am with this gift from God and the many things this child will bring into our lives. Jom and I already feel blessed having been happily and peacefully together for several months, and this gift from God will surely bless our marriage even more.
I gave in to my craving. Hehehehe
And to justify this new purchase, I told myself this is an advance birthday gift to myself. Also I asked Jom’s approval and he was pleased with the design so he gave me the greenlight.

When I used to have so much time in my hands, one of the things I did to while away the time on weekends was read my books in a quiet coffee shop. For a couple of years, though, I’ve not secluded myself and my books. I’ve been busy being a girlfriend/wife, a badminton player and a kapamilya fan (LOL) so I’ve neglected my books and my quiet time. But today, I've decided, I’m going to do just that. I’m going to find myself and my book a nice and quiet coffee shop so we can catch-up.
The dream rang in my head several times that day and even until today. Can I afford to lose my job? What will I do if I lose my job? The thought of it scared me.
There are times I would tease the Husbo that I plan on retiring at the age of 35. He would say that if I want to I can resign right now. I don’t know if he was kidding. I do not doubt the husbo’s capacity to support us. I just think that there are so many things one has to consider before making that big leap.
For one, I don’t want to be totally dependent on the husbo. As you know, I want so many things. I shop and go out a lot. And when I don’t have work, that means I’d have to ask husbo to provide for those. And I don’t want that!
Secondly, as I said I do not doubt the husbo’s capacity to provide for me and our future children. But I strongly believe that if there are two people working in the family, life will be a lot more comfortable for them, the children most especially. Not that I’m earning so much, but I think somehow my salary can help cover some of the household expenses.
Thirdly, the benefits I get from this company are a lot of help to us. I don’t ever have to worry about getting sick because the company will pay for the expenses. Loan benefits with very minimal interest rate is also a big help.
Lastly and God forbid, but what if something happens to the husbo? I don’t want to be helpless because I’m jobless.
So, husbo, if you’re reading this. Know that I’m not seriously considering going on early retirement. Maybe I will if I know that we’ve set up trust funds amounting to millions under the name of our children. Or maybe I will if I know I have my own business fully operational and self-sustaining. Or maybe when you give me a monthly allowance equal to or more than my current salary. hehehe

![]() You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. |

My last weekend was eventful. I want to tell you about it in detail, but I have 180 unread e-mails, 3 loan agreements to format and circulate, 1 mission travel to arrange and 4 bosses to assist. Talk about bunching huh?!
I also haven't recovered from lack of sleep. For the past few days, my sleeping hours range from 4-5 hours per day. My eye bags are looming, darker than ever. Top it with mucus-filled throat and congested nasal.
Haven't played badminton for two weeks. Hence, a bigger tummy and arms.
I will talk to you again. But first, I have to get rid of all these. Ciao!
ps. My french boss came to visit yesterday and my gaaadddd, I look like hell!
