I guess, you already know why.
But don't despair. There's no winner yet. We still have a chance on Sunday...and the pot has grown even bigger...it will be worth P232M on Sunday.
I gotta run! Ciao!
The tournament’s main goal is to generate financial support for Jason Tuazon, an MBA friend suffering with end-stage renal disease. Jason has been diagnosed with urethreal tubercolosis in 2005. Late last year, this illness progressed to a stage that required regular dialysis treatments. It will just be a matter of time when Jason will require a Kidney transplant.
We hope that this tournament will encourage others to be part of this undertaking through participation in the tournament or contributions, both financial and in kind.
The tournament will be held on 4 May 2008 at Club 650, Libis. It is expected to be participated by players from various badminton organizations and students from DLSU. Please feel free to leave a message and your contact numbers if you wish to get a copy of the registration form. See poster for more details.
Ang sarap mangarap paminsan-minsan!
Did you hear how big is the Lotto Jackpot now? Last I know, it’s at P194M. Wew! That’s a lot of money.
Do you also remember how I secretly wished I win in the Lotto though I never placed a bet?
Last week, while the whole country was preparing to go on vacation for the Holy Week break, I urged my lunch mates to bet in the Lotto. And so, the conversation about what you’ll do if you win (it was only P185M then) began:
C: If I win, bibigyan ko kayo tig-iisa ng P1,000. Hahahaha.
C: Ikaw G2, anong gagawin mo?
G2: Magtratravel tayong lahat sa Europe! Sagot ko. Magkano ba isa, sabihin nating P400,000 each times 6 pax. P2.4M lang, chicken!!!
I: Grabe no, pag may P185M ka, magleleave ka agad ng 2months. Tapos magtravel ka lang ng mag-travel.
R: Mag-reresign ba kayo pag nanalo kayo?
Sigurado yun.
C: Ako siguro hindi muna. Sisiguraduhin ko munang okay yung negosyo ko bago ako mag-resign.
G2: Oo nga.
I: Grabe!
Hahaha
That afternoon, after all our day dreaming, we marched to the mall and placed our bets. We even agreed that if we lost, we would all wear black the next day to mourn our shattered dreams.
He is now a Dazer!!!! Thank you Jess!

On the fourth round, my right fist felt a little sore. It felt worse at every punch so I had Benjie remove the wraps. My knuckles were bruised, some skin peeled off. Benjie immediately took out his bottle of alcohol wanting to pour some on my freshly-made wound. I tried to stop him...begged and cried...but he was so much stronger and I had no choice. So I just settled with screaming and cursing him as he generously poured alcohol.
Haaayy...Hirap magpapayat!
I went to the office wearing my skinny jeans, which I haven't worn for months, and a plain top, slightly loose to hide my bulges. Midway through the morning, I regret wearing it. When I sit or bend forward, my pants reveal my butt crack and when I walk I have to pull it up once in a while to keep it from falling (revealing my butt crack again). My top, whose fabric sticks to the skin, reveals my bulging tummy which grew by a few inches.
I'm going out tonight. I can't afford to look horrible. So off I went to the tiangge to get some cheap but nice stuff to replace my hideous outfit. True enough, I got a pair of jeans for P650 and two blouses priced at P250 each. Great! I'm so excited to change.
When I got back, I told G and R in the elevator of my good buys and explained why I had to change my outfit. I'm getting fat. R, with conviction said, "Alam mo oo nga! Nung nakita kita kanina...ibaaaaa. Lalo na yung braso mo." When I was about to take off to get my lunch, she said "oh, wag ka na kumain". Now everyone in the elevator knows my body measurement.
Lesson learned: The truth really hurts.
Upstairs, while I was chatting with R's seatmate, Dyosa, R said "Claire, papabasa ko sa`yo tong book na `to pagkatapos ko." The book is "French Women Don't Get Fat". Then said, "binili ko nga ito kahit di ako mataba eh."
Lesson learned: If you can't join them, beat them.
I have one month to get fit and shed off some unwanted fats and I don't know what additional exercise to take. Can you help me? Cast your vote now.
While the rest of the world was out celebrating V-day, Jom and I were at home to catch the final episode of Amazing Race Asia Season 2. I heard from someone that Team Philippines lost in the final leg but I had to see through my own eyes so I watched nonetheless.
I was up early today as I planned to get Krugger washed before I go to work. He really needs that bodywash dahil ang dugyot dugyot na nya and for heaven's sake V-day naman, he deserves some loving!!!
I was out of the door by 6:30am. As I walk towards him, I noticed that it regained its natural glow. I thought, someone must have wiped off the dirt from the windshield. I checked the rear to see if the dust and dried leaves I saw the night before was still there...but no it's squeaky clean. So I thought again "ah, bka lininisan nila Beth kaninang umaga", which is possible because she does that when she was still working for us. She would get up early, cook breakfast for us then clean our cars. But before I could get the key in the keyhole, I noticed the beautiful bunch on the passenger seat...a valentine treat from my Honey. :-)
So this morning, I had this silly grin on my face while driving to work. Thanks Babe!
My writing skills went on leave thus the silence in this blogpage for weeks. So for now, I can only provide you with bullet points of what happened in the past four weeks.

![]() You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. |
Take twelve whole months.
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness,
hate, and jealousy.
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty, or
thirty-one different parts,
but don't make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.
Mix well into each day one part of faith,
one part of patience, one part of courage,
and one part of work.
Add to each day one part of hope,
faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation,
and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits,
a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play,
and a cup full of good humor.
Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy,
garnish with a smile,
and serve with quietness, unselfishness,
and cheerfulness.
You're bound to have a happy new year.
Remember the nicely wrapped present I found on my desk? I opened it and it contained the book I asked for. And the donor? It's from my lovaaaahhh, sent thru his angel Dyosa.
I only found out when I noticed that the present he gave me on 21 December was wrapped the same way that mystery gift was wrapped.
Thanks Jom!
I found a nicely wrapped present on my desk this morning. It doesn't say who it is for, so I assumed it's for me. If this is for my boss or for my friend, sorry but you would have to get them something else because I own it now. IT'S MINE.
Remember this: ANYTHING PLACED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF MY TERRITORY FOR MORE THAN 1 HOUR WILL BE DECLARED MY PROPERTY UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.
Merry Christmas people!
Ps. Thank you for the brilliant idea Diyosa.
A (mystery) passser-by left that message on my magnetic board a couple of weeks ago. It came with a box of chocolate that I'm supposed to eat everyday until Christmas. Yes, Santa Claus is coming to town! And before he does, I want to make sure he (and my baby, kuya and friends) wrapped the right presentSSSS for me. hehehehe
To my family and friends and special someone, below is a short list of what I want this Christmas. Feel free to get me everything. hehehehe
